Affordable Places to Stay


If couch surfing is not your idea of a fun then there are several other affordable options. Hostels of course are the number one choice with some places as low as three dollars a night! Although the average runs about seventeen dollars a night, here are a few great hostel sites. Hostels do not usually have age limits however, if it is the busy season they may choose to give beds to younger travelers, also you need to be aware if you will need your own bedding or if you can rent bedding, many hostels do not allow sleeping bags, just a heads up! 

A more expensive option, but some are still affordable, are hotels/motels. Listed below are some easy hotel search sites. Keep in mind hotels will be on average the cost of a hotel will be double that of a hostel, possibly much higher depending on how much you are willing to spend. Remember you will not be spending a lot of time in your hostel/hotel so there is no need to spend a fortune on it, it is just a place to rest your head at night!

That's right, I said it. And you know it's true. Today I thought I'd share with you a few memes that make me laugh.  This one is huge for me! 520 10k

Did you know that Seattle hosts that largest floating bridge in the world! And for their grand opening they hosted a 10k race! The Go Long 520 10k , how cool is that! This was one opportunity that I just couldn't miss. This was the first 10k that I have run in months and months. So I really didn't know what to expect as far as pace. My goal was to get below 1 hour and I did! I came in at 57 minutes! Which is the fastest I have ever run 10k.  The race had many issues, bottle-necking was the primary one. Thankfully I was keeping a fast enough pace to miss out on those problems though. But considering that it was a pop up race that had never been done before, I think it went very well.    My power pose for finally getting below 1 hour! Keep on Running!
